ssj4joey the database is typically accessed via the command line or a software like phpMyAdmin, not through a file directory. If you're using a shared host with a panel (like Plesk or Cpanel) you can often find a link for phpMyAdmin or Database on the main page, and from there access your database directly.
If you're on a VPS, you may have to install such software (phpMyAdmin, etc) yourself, or use the command line.
I recommend programs like phpMyAdmin because it's very obvious when you're making a change, so you won't likely do it by mistake. And they present the information in a usable manner, though can it take some time to get used to understanding what you're reading.
You'll want to access your Flarum database and look in the users
table (it may also look like prefix.users
), as clarkwinkelmann mentioned before. Then search for the username of that user and see if they have an entry. If they do, you can use that to get their user ID (and access it at yoursite.com/u/ID
) or use the database field itself to unban them (there's a suspended_until
field that will have a value in it, change it to NULL
and save to repeal the ban).
