I would like to ask for a little help.
I'd like to change the Twitter icon to "X" since it's already the current one, but no matter how hard I try to overwrite it, it won't work.

Can someone help with that?

Facebook Share debugger shows error:
Missing Properties - The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id

How can i fix this?

I just want to ask, do you guys want to update the "Twitter" name and icon?

Unfortunately, it hasn't been called that for a while

And it would be nice if sharing didn't seem awkward in the eyes of users.

Boss81 Yes, we can update it. You can expect an update within the next couple of days

Boss81 Well actually, I had a look already, and it turns out that the new Logo is only available for Font Awesome 6 upwards. So I don't see a clean implementation within fof/share-social itself, with Font Awesome 5 being the common standard in 1.x.

Boss81 in your case you could install blomstra/fontawesome which upgrades Font Awesome to version 6 and override the old logo and colors in the CSS.

nxmndr are you talking about Discord channels? If yes then the Fof Webhooks extension will do this.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I'd like to display the sharing buttons on the blog offered by the Blog - Adds a blog section to your community extension. Is this possible?

The X app on Android responds with "The term you entered did not bring up any results. Please try again later." when trying to share a discussion on one FreeFlarum forum (using latest version v1.2.0, I assume it's a bug in this extension). Also, the share button (in the panel on the right, below discussion controls) still uses the old Twitter logo.

when I use extension manager with fof social-share I get a red popup "the package format is invalid"

Somebody please advise

I'd load a picture but I can't work out how to do it from my media gallery on my flarum
I think I have hot links on my site prohibited so when I put a url in nothing displays

Note that the package name is fof/share-social

clarkwinkelmann I can produce the same error with the twitter intent.

Click the share button on your phone, select Twitter and wait for it to direct you to the "X" app. You will also get this error

i followed your clarifications and it worked!
for the "what features" im using whatever softalious delivers
i just enabled Extension Manager & type into "Install a new extension"
I'd loade a dozen fof from "most popular" and found i couldn't copy a post URL to share a post anywhere so looked for how to and share-social seemed the thing - tried to load it and repeatedly got errors
ive got 40yrs in IT so did try being 'sensible' but didn't find the right incantation and dont yet know enough flarum to intuit anything yet
As i learn i'll write up some accessible 101 documentation NOT aimed at hackers but at casual users

If I wanted to add a (social sharing target) network, what would be the best approach? My brain says fork, edit, push then PR? but I'm also curious if it can perhaps be done via extend.php (which granted I have no idea how all that works (yet))
