installing flarum on my own server

Hello, I found out that the FLARUM is now cool and a user friendly forum which is for free. but I am having trouble or confuse on what to do on SSH just to have it installed on my server. I also dont know much when it comes to coding.. can someone help me to setup flarum for me?

tolgaaaltas Hello, I see that you need to use XAMPP/Desktop for you to have this installed and setup on your server. but at the moment, I do just only have limited access on PC as I am on dorm. my PC is on my home which is 70KMs away from here. may I know if can I still setup and install the flarum just using tablet/mobile phone?

Choipadua17 No, you don't. The above video is for shared hosting without SSH. If you have that access, as you've indicated, please follow the instructions here: https://flarum.org/docs/install.html

jordanjay29 I see. so just my SSH Access information and recommended SSH Client, ill be able to install and set it up just using my phone? though I believe that there is SSH Client that can be use on Android Phone. right?

Choipadua17 yes it might not be the most practical but you should be able to set Flarum up from a mobile device with an SSH client software.

Some hosts even have a web SSH terminal. You could definitely configure the server from any device that can display web pages with that 😃
