The kilowhat namespace contains code I wrote for clients under the MIT license, made available as-it. This means I or any other developer can freely fork and reuse the codebase in another extension. If the extension must be updated as part of a client contract, I'll likely work on the update as open source work as well and it will be published to GitHub. If not, the current code will stay available under the MIT license for anyone to fork. Chances are, if it has become a popular extension in the meantime, a group like FoF might fork and update it.
This solution allows me to share code for anyone to learn/build upon, without engaging myself in maintaining countless low-usage packages for free. I don't want to push all those packages to FoF either because of the potentially limited use and the fact they might become completely obsolete because of other extensions already in the work.
