Hi everyone, I am glad to join such a vibrant and inclusive community. I am a student at a university and one of my projects requires me to launch a forum as a platform to collect data from users. With your help, now my forum can run with most features I need though only on my localhost.
But there is a feature that I have not found the solution by using an existing extension: for every post, I want to add a button besides like/reply, so that when the user dislike this response or whenever they want they can click that button , then there will jump out a chatbot window. I want to customize my own chatbot rule, but at first I would like to use an api as reply then move to my goal.
Recently I tried to understand how these extensions work, as they seem to be magic for me. I tried to understand their source code, but I failed. So is there any suggestion about how to build an extension? And I hope there exists some chatbot extensions but perhaps I did not find them. If I can reference to their codes, I think it would be much easier for me to achieve my feature.
