Same problem with polls, I haven't used it since 1.0, but if I open older polls posted with beta 15, everything is 0% now whereas the voters list is correct. No javascript error in the console.

To install in a new forum 1.04 need to do all the OP tips: Installation, migrating, updating and metadata update?

SnakePromise I don't think so. This should be easy to change by forking the extension. I'm not sure if we want to add an option for that in the extension itself. We could inject the value in a second hidden DIV so that custom CSS can access it.

clarkwinkelmann I'd say it's a rather popular option in voting widgets. There could be 2 consecutive spans with "XX%" and "XX votes" to be hidden/shown with CSS.

IanM I can see the tooltip "NaN votes" when I´m a guest in the forum, any idea what´s happening?

Edit: Okay, it depends on the permission I give it to see the results. I had Members instead of Everyone but I think it's a bug anyway.

IanM Great! This is a bit off topic... but a while ago I started to notice the impact of using external content on the speed of a Flarum site, especially when stacking up external resources from multiple extensions.

In these months some extensions have stopped using external resources and the speed improvements have been surprising, as if by magic 🪄

I created poll with admin account and try to vote with other user account but Nan votes problem and you don't have permission to vote message appeared. How to fix this problem.

I've got issues with enabling the plugin on my testdomain.

Next Illuminate\Database\QueryException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1215 Cannot add foreign key constraint (SQL: alter table `flarumpolls` add constraint `flarumpolls_discussion_id_foreign` foreign key (`discussion_id`) references `flarumdiscussions` (`id`) on delete cascade) in /home/testdomain/public_html/releases/12/vendor/illuminate/database/Connection.php:712

Is this a well known issue? And does anyone know how to fix it?

johnvanhulsen based on the results for this error message online, it looks like your database might be in an invalid state that prevents the extension's migrations from running correctly. This answer on StackOverflow explains how to retrieve a more detailed error message from MySQL logs https://stackoverflow.com/a/43680629

Otherwise can you tell us more about your setup? Have you exported the database to a backup and restored previously? How long ago have you installed Flarum? Were you able to install other extensions successfully? What's the MySQL version?

Hi all.

I am new to Flarum and I did a new install, after a little troubleshooting, forum is up and running.

I installed about 20 of the extensions from FoF, including POLLS. They all show up under extensions in my admin panel (on the left) and I have them all set to enabled.

The problem is I don't see the option to create a poll. I came on the forum here to see if I could find the option and create a poll as a registered user of this forum - NO DICE. But maybe it isn't installed here, since it's optional.

Am I just missing it? I feel like I'm just missing the button location or something...

BTW: The forum is FigRoots.com, I'm also not seeing the header graphic or the favicon, they show a generic broken image graphic. I'm assuming I may need to downsize the image(s) or something, are there any guidelines for those?

When you write a new discussion, you should have a button at the top of the composer to add a poll to the discussion. Polls are always linked to a discussion. I'm not sure you can add a poll to an existing discussion.

The Polls extension is not installed on discuss.flarum.org

It's always fine to bump discussions about extensions if you have a problem with the extension.

However for issues not related to the extension, please start a new support discussion 👍️
