Would there be a way to add a "Add Poll" button to the three dots for editing posts? This would be very beneficial notably for admins if they want to add a poll to a post.

Geraldlzc That's not the purpose of this extension, so you won't be able to do it with it. If someone makes anything like that, it'd be a separate extension as this one is just for regular polls, not forms.

I've upgraded my entire forum from beta-7.3.1 to the latest. I'm trying to install fof/polls (to replace reflar/polls) but I'm getting a migration issue:

Please run the latest migration(s) of reflar/polls before enabling this extension

Is there anything I can post here that will let you figure out what's wrong?

NorioDS Try reinstalling reflar/polls, enabling it, and running php flarum migrate. After that's done, install fof/polls and try to enable it again. You may not have had the latest reflar/polls migrations, which are required when migrating from it.

datitisev That didn't work for me because Flarum will only run migrations for an enabled extension and it won't enable the extension in the admin. So I did this:

Add reflar-polls to the list of extensions in the settings table.
Run migrations.
If one fails (I rain migrate:reset for the polls extension, so there were some failures), then add it to the migrations table.
Repeat step #2.

I kept doing that until the migrations ran fine. Then I...

Edited out reflar-polls from the list of extensions in the settings table.
Removed reflar/polls with composer.
Installed fof/polls with composer.
Reloaded the extensions screen in admin.
Enabled fof/polls.

All looks good now 😃 Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

NorioDS Hm, all I can think of is that maybe composer didn't install the latest reflar version and instead kept the fof/polls version (because reflar was tagged v1.x.x, and fof is v0.x.x and the repo is synced).

Hi, thanks for this amazing extension !

Sadly, I don't have access to polls permissions from the admin user and only the admin can create polls and answer to it.

I reinstalled the extension but nothing changed. (everything is up to date)

Do you have any idea to give polls permissions to all of the users ?

Yes and the problem is there, nothing related to polls is displayed in the admin dashboard.

If they don't, can you check that there aren't any JS errors in the developer console?

Thanks for your help, no those permissions are not displayed but actually there is an error in the console.
It comes from maicol07/flarum-ext-sso extension. I'll try to fix it.

Kyrne hi kyrne, i am using fof/polls v.0.1.2 . When i vote any poll, i can change after vote. How can i disable it. How can users vote only one time ?

I encountered some issues and got some ideas for enchantment while using v0.1.2 under Beta 12 🤔 Listed below:

There's a chance to get a wrong timezone while setting the poll's end date. (I expected it to be UTC+8, after publishing the post it went back to UTC+0)
I can't see other options' votes except for the one I voted after voting.
Is there's a method to let users vote more than one option?
...and is there a setting to restrict users to change their votes after voting?

btw will opening issues in GitHub repo makes you review these problems easier? If so I'll do it, thx a lot🙏

This seems like the only big missing thing from the plugin to me.

Virtually every poll solution I've seen anywhere else gives the option to view results without voting, and it would be really great to have it here too.
