Flarum 0.1.0-beta.9 Released

I used the command but not updated to beta 9 only updated from 8beta to 8.2beta. I need update or change all extensions for compatibility with new beta9?

darkfox One of your installed extensions isn't allowing flarum/core to update to v0.1.0-beta.9. Run composer why flarum/core. See https://discuss.flarum.org/d/20608-upgrade-to-beta-9-potential-issue/3 for an example output. If you have kilowhat/flarum-ext-mailing installed, you'll have to remove it.

datitisev After delete all deprecated plugins like flagrow/baazar the update work and i have now beta9 😁 thanks for help

PD: I deleted "icon" column of table 'fl_tags' for migration problems but now work.

You can install extiverse/bazaar 👍 others you removed might have alternatives from the friends of flarum.

Never mind I solved it by removing the column "icon" in the table "tags"

If a beta 9.2 existed, it would be the correct command. But we are still at beta 9, there's no 9.1 or 9.2. What makes you think a new beta was released ? 🤔

Please post the full Bazaar error in the Bazaar discussion, with details on what extension you were trying to install/remove.

If you upgrade from 8.1 to 9, then the extensions will also need to be updated or will they work as it is now?

ART994 Some extensions will need updating to new versions. For some of them, composer will warn you (extension/thatone has been abandoned. Use extension/thisone instead.) but it's also worth checking the extensions discussions here.

FebriTriHarmoko I would see if theirs a WordPress OAuth2 plugin and integrate that way. Connecting flarum directly to WordPress seems very unlikely, or if it does happen it will be an extension and more than likely a paid one because of the amount of time and effort that would have to go into that.

Hello there,
Before there was an option to let user log in only with username and password only, but can't find that option in the beta release 9.

As far as I remember there has never been any setting about this, but the first field of the login form always accept either email or username.

You do need an email to register.

Maybe you were using an extension ?

clarkwinkelmann ReFlar User Management removed the email field if I'm not mistaken though I was sure Doorman handled that (guess not? 🤔)

clarkwinkelmann there was no extension, i could change it in admin section.
Permission and then no registration with email.
Just username and password only.
