Is it just me, or does this extension not work on the front-end ? I can see the icon, so the element itself is being loaded, but I can't click it at all. Tried disabling then re-enabling in case that resolved it, but no dice.

[deleted] interesting...I remember there being an issue where when Gamification was installed and enabled, it made the reaction icon unclickable in any state and float to the left; was that the case or was it on the right as designed and unclickable?

That's it yes, it was unlickable to the left.

I think I might have that problem. I'm on the most recent update, but when I hover the reactions appear on the left side of the screen - it's near impossible to get over there with the cursor. Any tips?

I was also wondering, is there a way to make several reactions contribute to the gamification upvotes/downvotes?

I trashed my Flarum directory a few days ago (https://discuss.flarum.org/d/27083-i-screwed-up-an-install/) and although I recovered it, I just noticed that reactions no longer seems to be functioning. I have no react option on messages at all. I don't even know how to start chasing down the problem.

I had installed it with Bazaar, but this time around just using composer require. I've tried removing it and reinstalling, and cache clear each time. What might I be missing?

HelenL you could probably use the extiverse helper to attempt to upgrade (it provides more information than composer does), see https://extiverse.com/helper. Most likely you need to set the constraints of your extensions to * and then update with composer.

luceos That didn't seem to help.

I'm wondering if I screwed up permissions. Since I'm installing everything under my account but www-data needs write access I'm constantly chowning the whole forum tree to myself or to www-data. I think I need to come up with a saner permission system and start over. (My usual method making all directories group writable, group owned by www-data and +s gave me a dead forum.)

Installed the extension and love it. But why reactions are always visible in mobile mode and you need to hover to see them in tablet and desktop mode? Would be nice to have a settings to have them visible always.

Hi creators of this FoF Reactions, really much needed extension!

But I have a problem as you can see below:

Notice the pale yellow rounded boxes.

This happens when I am editing stuff in the FoF Reactions admin page.

On that note, I just realized, the FoF Reactions (although turned on) is not working in the main forum.

Is there any thing else you need to know to help me diagnose this problem?

I'm running on freeflarum btw.

After 12 hours, when I mouseover now, the react button is up!

Is this a cache problem or something?

Also, what would be a good method to remove the "LIKE" so that only the react button is there?

Cause the LIKE can't be disabled due to the "Total Likes" enabled.

And Total Likes is needed to calculate the likes from the React extension.

Another thing:

Convert reactions to likes
Input the identifier of the reaction you would like to automatically convert into an likes

When I save changes to the above, that's when the error bubble comes up again without anything in it. The yellow box.

niloc I'm not sure how the convert function works, but I am assuming you could use some CSS to hide the like button and not impact the react like functionality.

As for cache, generally it is a good idea to clear cache after installing new extensions.

php flarum cache:clear
