Trying to upgrade Flarum from beta 8 to 9, but getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?', expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/anomalie/public_html/forum/vendor/doctrine/dbal/lib/Doctrine/DBAL/Driver/PDOConnection.php on line 24

Why is this happening?

EvelinaAdamovi Which PHP version do you have? I assume it's 7.0 (or possibly lower). Flarum needs 7.1 or up.

You're right luceos. But this is very strange because in Siteground MyAdmin I changed version to 7.3, but SSH still showing, that I'm using 7.0 PHP version... Going try to reach Siteground support team...

EvelinaAdamovi yeah shared hosting environment often use a specified php binary in ssh, you can probably use another by simply appending the version: php73 or something. Ask them.
