I don't know if the issue is with this extension or follow user extension. Upvotes or downvotes of a followed user's post causes a notification to be sent 'XXX user posted in a discussion'.

It will be better if this notification is correctly sent as "XXX user's post was upvotes" or not sent at all.

It's misleading.

Ffuser1 this error was caused by ianm/follow-users, which is now fixed - thanks for reporting 👍️

I haven't checked this extension in a while. Are we able to disable downvotes? (allowing only upvotes).

Also can we eliminate specific users from having ranks/badges? (Same as eliminating specific users from showing in the ranking page)

I too wanted to disable the downvotes. The extension does not have any options for that so I hid the downvotes option via custom CSS.

I think it’s a it’ll get updated when it gets updated situation.

Up above I think I suggested this should be marked incompatible and semi-abandoned. What I mean is: yes, this is a fantastic extension and many people have put a lot of work into it. But, even after small patches it tends to break under certain conditions in different ways. And so, ideally it should be re-built from scratch. IMO.

Hello,

I just started using flarum a few days ago and discovered this extension. All was wonderful except now, my profile no longer seems to load the past discussions. It seems to resolve itself when I deactivate this plugin.

Is that a known issue? I tried skimming through the posts above and I saw a reference to white screen of death. Just curious if that's the same thing?

Is there a fix for this? Let me know!

16BitMiker there are some open PR's that we are thoroughly reviewing and will have that issue patched soon, no need to uninstall or abandon hope 🙂

MartinJD Erm, it's not compatible with the latest version of flarum, and it's marked as such above.

If you're talking about the Extiverse image in the OP, check again; it is 100% compatible with the latest version of Flarum (1.0.4).

Not abandoned. Just re-done. That was my point. 🙂

Because, a few times now I’ve had to uninstall this over the years. And so, even once patched… I won’t feel comfortable using this. But, that’s just me.
