MartinJD The last thing we need is for it to be abadoned, and I know plenty of others here feel the same.

Not abandoned. Just re-done. That was my point. 🙂

Because, a few times now I’ve had to uninstall this over the years. And so, even once patched… I won’t feel comfortable using this. But, that’s just me.

Now there is a problem, it seems that hidden posts cannot be expanded when this extension is enabled

MartinJD They saw this issue I guess, maybe they are trying to solve it now. let's see what's coming next.

FriendsOfFlarum Hello, any chance to get the Best Answer extension integrated with this one, and get point also for the best answer?

      FoF Gamification wrecks FoF Reactions.
Flarum 1.0.4. Reactions and Gamification are 1.0.

When I hover over Reactions icon, it opens on the far left. When I turn off Gamification it goes back to normal.

Aras this is a known issue that's been added to our backlog of future bug fixes 🙂

        7 days later

Hello. How is it possible to customize the display of those who voted for and against? button on the right

How can I make my sorting (If I select TOP) sort on the up votes??
As well as show that TOP view as the starting page when you open the flarum website

Darkle an extension like Gamification is not a trivial thing, in fact, it's a very necessary kind of extension for any community, I think if it's dropped it would be a major shortcoming for Flarum

ctml I think most of the functions could be covered by other extensions at some point in the future.

As someone who just went live with flarum after 2 years (just checked my join date, actually 4 years!) of watching Flarum grow, I'm shocked that there is consideration of abandoning Gamification. Gamification emulates the reddit upvote/downvote system, and reddit is the biggest forum that all forum softwares should be benchmarked against. The is no other extension currently, or in the future (that I know of being planned) that replicates the frontend up/down voting system that drives engagement from the user/client side. Other extensions may have more complex features, perhaps- but removing frontend interaction has a consequential impact on community engagement that I am afraid system administrators may be discounting the power of.

Just a PSA, this extension is not going anywhere; we're hoping to have this PR fully reviewed soon. We do apologize that this is taking a long time as I'm sure you know that development of any kind takes time and patience so that we don't end up merging and releasing something that is still broken 🙁 we also have a QA team within FriendsOfFlarum so it is always good to have QA check and approve before we release anything new. Thank you for your time and patience everyone!

MartinJD wow! 25 days passed from this message and nothing. I hope they will fix it soon. (at least maybe we can get a response.)
