By the way, Typical Site Notifications only support FireFox & Chromium kernel browsers.

Is there a way to show the OneSignal prompt only for signed in users? It makes more sense then

Can anyone walk me through the set up of this extension?
1/ I installed it
2/ Enter the app id, rest api key and user key
3/ Copy the two js files and the manifest.json file to "public" folder

Clear my browser cache, but I don't see any prompt. When I go to settings, I do see an option to enable push notification and when I switch it on the browser does prompt me to enable notification. However, even after accepting it, nothing change in OneSignal dashboard. I tested my set up on another website (directly intergrating OneSignal stuff) and it works, seems like integrating with Flarum is my problem.

Chewing I think it's partially working. I manually register a device and can get push notification from Flarum. However, I can't get flarum to automatically register it

Hi, is there a way for notifications to be sent to other non-web platforms? For example to Android. Since I am trying to make it work in the Android application in which I have OneSignal configured but it is not sent to said platform

I don’t know what the problem is, I suppose that in any OneSignal settings. They come to me both on a smartphone and in windows (via chrome).

NikoVonLas if we can get it working on both iOS and Android, then a one time fee of $30 is not a big deal in my opinion.

huuduy216 unfortunately that's not an extension issue, it's a browser issue. Apple is very behind when it comes to browser technologies, and does not support web notifications. Nothing that can be done until they change their minds.

askvortsov not sure about iOS, I know safari on Mac support notification. Let's hope there will be notification soon

Any idea why I am getting this error I was not getting before?

malago that's a different extension: this thread is for the one signal web push extension, the error you're seeing is for my fully native PWA extension. The error you're seeing is fixed by downgrading minishlink/web-push to v5.2.5 and upgrading askvortsov/flarum-pwa to 1.0.6

askvortsov Thank you! I got confused between those two extensions.

I managed to downgrade the web-push package (after downgrading all the jwt-* packages to 1.3.10). We will see if that fixes the problem!

Any plan to make it compatible with web-push>=2?

malago web push 6 doesn't add any additional features, so that doesn't really pose that much of a benefit. There have, however, been some bugs reported with it, so I'm waiting on all those to be resolved before updating flarum pwa
