Hi. My name is David
A month ago, I thought that it would be useful to make a copy of Flarum, but instead of using PHP & MySQL, by using NodeJS & MongoDB.
I chose those programming languages (along with AngularJS) because I'm a lot more familiar with them than with PHP.
This is a work in progress, and will not be finished in weeks.
The Github project is @ http://Github.com/FlarumJS/node-flarum
The NPM project is @ http://npmjs.com/package/node-flarum
Travis-CI @ https://travis-ci.org/FlarumJS/node-flarum
Inch-CI @ https://inch-ci.org/github/FlarumJS/node-flarum
Gitter @ https://gitter.im/orgs/FlarumJS/rooms
FlarumJS Website: http://node-flarum.tk...................................................... FlarumJS website, copy of Flarum.org, not finished yet
FlarumJS Website Tester: http://blog.node-flarum.tk/flarumjs-status..... it looks to see if website is up or down
FlarumJS Community Forum: http://discuss.node-flarum.tk..................... FlarumJS Community Forum; uses FlarumJS!
FlarumJS Blog: http://blog.node-flarum.tk.................................................... FlarumJS Blog
I would appreciate all the help I can get, as of right now, the only help I have is Internet and Javier Ortiz (CTO of Tutellus [1]).
If you think I'm lying about knowing Node and Mongo, I'll try my best to convince you.
I created an online videocourse when I was 10, published June 17, 2014 [2]
I created a website for my mother, a not-famous music composer (yet) [3]
I used Ghost.org to also create her a blog. [4]
I created a CheckIn website for my school.
I hope to receive a lot of support during this project.
I also hope for everyone to try to make me understand something that I don't.
Ex: Javier Ortiz spent 45min trying to teach me to use aggregate instead of find with mongoose
Also to mention, original credits, styles, animation, and script credits go to the Flarum members, without them forums wouldn't look as good, as I've seen others ?
