A very turbulent week and that had an impact on my ability to post. To sum it up:
- The Flarum Foundation has received full ownership of intellectual property and access to accounts relating to the Flarum project 🥳 This means the Foundation now finally isn't just a pretty face 👸 , but also holds this wonderful software in a protective shell. With this finally off our plate we will move forward with some of the other plans we have 😏 ..
- Got back in touch with a merchandise vendor, whom we'll announce publicly soon ™️ . We'd love to hear what kind of Flarum swag you cannot live without 👷♂️ !
- We've been asked to join the GitHub sponsors alpha for teams. Their personal sponsors pages was opened up just recently, our Flarum sponsors page was set up before GitHub Universe this week and became immediately available when they announced the feature!
- Worked with Franz and Jordan on our processes as a foundation, including decision making.
- Reached out to yet another potential source of income; more soon 😉
- Joined the staff meeting today. Where we talked about our release schedule, PR's, code and many other things.
- Worked on:
I'd like to point out that I've seen people ask often enough how to help get Flarum to stable. Hoping that extensive answers cause an increase of people willing to support, yet the reality is different. Not everyone is a coder and not everyone has much to spare, I get that.
But do allow me to point out that what really helps us right now is to get more funds into our project. These funds are crucial while securing name, brand and as investment in our community and ecosystem. Even the smallest donations can make a world of difference; become fundamental in our growth and support us!
