Kakifrucht clarkwinkelmann Ah alright, was hoping there was some API I could query or some other trick. Since the dark class has been removed I can't query that either. It's fine either way though, there are other ways to achieve what I'm trying to do.
clarkwinkelmann Kakifrucht you mean from javascript? There is definitely a way to know which theme is enabled in javascript, someone might know the code.
datitisev therealsujitk Per-device settings means the value in that dropdown will be saved per device. In other words, you can choose "Automatic" on one device, "Light" on another, and "Dark" on the 3rd at the same time.
giter body when (@config-dark-mode =true) { .footer{background: #15202b !important;} } Why it does't work in my forum?
[deleted] giter Why it does't work in my forum? We'll need a bit more detail - what's the link to your website ?
giter [deleted] I found body when (@config-dark-mode =true){xxx:xxx;} is not working in my forum, No matter what I type, CSS sitll non-working.
clarkwinkelmann giter does the code work without the when statement? Did you clear the cache? Why do you need body in the selector if you override specificity with !important anyway? I see you might have copied this from phenomlab's original code, but I'm assuming body is not required for it to work.
ekrm Hello, I wonder if we can leave this to your follow-up and preference? It would be nice to have a button to the right of the search box.
tolgaaaltas ekrm How many times do you switch between day and night? You usually set it once and leave it. Therefore, it doesn't need to be visible all the time.
[deleted] I think I may have found a bug. If you set the global settings to per device, then reload, you land up with a strange hybrid of the light and dark theme which obviously isn't right. I've confirmed the same bug with @Gatsu
pupsik Another bug, is when you set the default mode as dark mode in fof night mode, the admin panel still in day mode. It overwrites it from Appearance settings. And when you set default mode in Appearance as Dark mode, you can't change it to day mode using fof night mode.
datitisev is when you set the default mode as dark mode in fof night mode, the admin panel still in day mode. It overwrites it from Appearance settings. Hm, interesting... works for me on discuss 🤔 pupsik And when you set default mode in Appearance as Dark mode, you can't change it to day mode using fof night mode. This is known, but the simple fix is to set the extension settings default to dark mode and have the Appearance "dark mode" setting disabled.
