Also add the user_id to the api key (should be the id of your admin user)

does the vendor folder exists in the plugin folder?
Try to upload the zip from WP dashboard (I don't know if you know it but from WP 5.6 you can upload a newer plugin version and WP will automatically update the plugin if it is already installed)

maicol07 I've deleted and replaced SSO in wp plugin folder . I will try and keep you posted

i have deleted that folder reinstalled from wordpress store - downloaded repo from github and updated plugin from wordpress plugin area - it got updated and after the update vendor folder got deleted.

for next updated could you plan to install from wp plugin store and at flarum without touching db manually

I made my app work with your extension but there is a small problem. I used Codeigniter 4 as the framework and the main website is at localhost/xxxx and my forum is at localhost/xxxx/forum. When I set root_domain to localhost plugin works but when I try to go to the forum it automatically redirects me to localhost sometimes. When I set root_domain to localhost/xxxx/forum plugin is not working.

How do you go to the forum?

maicol07 When I first logged in it forwards me to the localhost but after that, it works fine with localhost/xxxx/forum URL. The first time is the problem.

Hari for the WP repo yes, I'm working on it. I'll see if I can generate an API key from the extension, but I don't promise anything about that. For the moment, run a composer install --no-dev in plugin folder to solve the issue with the WP plugin

tharuka that's strange... if you see the URL of the button is correct, the redirect starts when Flarum is loading. Can you try to dump $request->getUri() in LoginMiddleware.php (extension)?

maicol07 Hey. I hardcoded the forum URL in LoginMiddleware and now it works. I know that's not a good solution but thought that you should be informed. Again thanks for this great plugin.

maicol07 instead of $request->getUri() in RedirectResponse I used my forum URL. Then it worked. I think the problem is that $request->getUri() passes the root URL to the RedirectResponse funtion in LoginMiddleware.

tharuka the only issue in this way is that you'll always be redirect to Flarum root and not to the page you requested

maicol07 No. Since I used this with Codeigniter 4. I can use redirect function to redirect to the URL I want and It works. I don't know about $flarum->redirect() method which provide in the library.

tharuka I didn't mean that. The $flarum->redirect() method only redirects the user to Flarum root. What I say is within the extension. The middleware runs on every request to Flarum. So if the user clicks a link to a discussion in your Flarum (i.e. from google) then the login middleware runs. If user is signed in in your auth system then it will be logged in and page is refresh (Redirect to the same page). Writing the forum url overrides this refresh and redirects to Flarum root

Is there any way I could use Google OAuth with this plugin? I tried setting up Google Social Login with a WP plugin but it doesn't seem to login into Flarum.

Sanyu you must use a plugin for WP for this to work that uses the standard WP auth flow (basically, it must call the authenticate filter). Ask the plugin developer or choose another plugin
