Discussion and post author and date change

I just changed a discussions's author, but it only changed the author which displied in the Home Page Discussion List. -> The discussion.
In the Discussion Page, the author still is me.... haddn't been changed...

Littlegolden that's expected. Both of them are edited separately. Click on the post 3-dots menu and change the author of the post if you want.

clarkwinkelmann I just changed the author of a old discussion and it did not change it, it still shows the same profile and name. Its a discussion that got created before i added the extension, maybe its that?

[deleted] as explained in the first post you need to edit both the first post and discussion author if you want both to change. If you only edited the discussion author it's normal for the first post to still reflect the previous author and vice-versa.

I just leave this here, when you change the author it shows on their profile but it does not count up the discussions.

It still says "Discussions 1" but the user has 2.

[deleted] yes indeed. The discussion or post count isn't automatically updated at the moment. It'll be updated next time the user creates or deletes a discussion/post.

Another thing, when changing the time from an discussion and post it still shows the wrong date on the homepage. It says "replied may 25" but i just changed it for the discussion and post. Any idea?

[deleted] that's a similar issue to the previous one. Currently no user or discussion or tag meta gets auto-updated by this extension.

Wadera that's unfortunately not a feature of this extension. If you only need to do that occasionally I'd recommend editing the database directly. Otherwise this would probably make more sense as its own extension.

It's great, but I'm really want to get option to replace all posts from single user to another (merge 2 users into one).

After my forum was migrated - some users can't recover passwords (as they don't remember which e-mail address they used etc) and create separate, temporary usernames. It's common that after a while they recover their original accounts and want to get them merged and indeed - I'm playing with DB itself right now, but being able to do it trough extension will be easier and safer 😉

It's nothing what I can't live without, but as feature request - let it be in your mind that it can be useful for some admins.

You are probably running beta 14 but not the latest release of this extension. Which should not be possible with Composer the requirements.
