datitisev This is quite a fundamental aesthetic issue in my view, and personally, I think it should work in the way one would expect - for example, if you have an unread email, it's in bold. As soon as you've read it, the boldness is removed for the standard font weight. Having to mark notifications as read seems counter productive.
