tankerkiller125 I'm unsure why MySQL did this as usually when restoring from backups or updating a database MySQL already keeps this data but it appears it got lost somehow.

Depending how the data was exported/backed up, the value of the autoincrement might not be part of the backup.

Usually if data+structure is backed together, it will be included. That's my experience with phpMyAdmin and the command line mysqldump.

samtto you mean Flarum user ? You can insert a new line in the users table. You can just set username and email, then request a password reset from the UI. If you can't send emails, you must store the bcrypt hash of a password and set the verified_email column to true.

As u said, the ID can't Automatic growth，it's always be "0"（Whether I delete this user or manually change it to the correct ID）,than the next one can't register.what can i do? thank you ...very much!

if the last ID is 119,so run SQL:
ALTER TABLE users AUTO_INCREMENT = 120;
restart mysql &iis
but nothing changed.

samtto when you go on the "Structure" tab in PHPmyAdmin (second tab), does it show id with Extra: AUTO_INCREMENT ? Maybe the structure lost the reference to the AUTOINCREMENT and thinks it's just an INT column.

Does the auto increment works on the other tables of the forum ? Like when you post replies or create new discussions ?

Dependant on the mechanism used to export and import the database between hosts, this is in fact very rare - to the point where it has never actually happened to me. Even using the source command inside the mysql console is safe.

Did your alter the structure of the database before export ?

[deleted] Caused by improper operation when installing slq5.7.28，After the SQL environment is installed, I copy the data folder directly and run IIS. The web site does not work properly，Next, I deleted the date.mysql.sys folder, put the original database of the same name into the data folder, and finally performed database recovery through phpmyadmin.I thought there was no problem with this operations..and Most important, recovery, take too long time, i suspended operations in advance 😅
