Where are flarum files stored?

I am currently using Flarum which is hosted on a NameCheap server. The one problem with hosting websites on this server is that NameCheap only allows you to store a maximum of 300,000 files. I would like to know if the number of files will remain constant as it is the day I installed it or will it keep increasing as people post more stuff. As long as all the posts and everything else are on a mySQL database, I'm guessing I'll be safe. Are there any files that will keep building on my server?

therealsujitk most of the files will be constant, except for:

public/assets/avatars - containing user avatars
storage/logs - containing error (and sometimes debug) information, you can remove the older files that are over a month old if you don't care about this
storage/cache - this folder contains things needed to cache the application, it improves the speed of your forum. It should not grow at all, just mentioning it exists.

Sometimes extensions store files in the storage or public directories, eg the flagrow/upload extension does that.

luceos hrvoje_hr Are the files in /.composer/cache important? It has folders of everything I've installed using composer. Should I leave it alone or is it safe for deletion?

You shouldn't be worried. My forum with 1000 users and >20 extensions have something like 6000 files.

therealsujitk Deleting it will not impact Flarum at all. You can use composer clear-cache to empty it.
