What are the Basic Skills or Knowledge of platform required by any Developer who wish to create Extension for Flarum?

What technology is used for Flarum?

love_from_india Starting to create an extension is actually fairly easy and the documentation for doing so can be found here there is also a boilerplate generator you can find here. I would recommend looking at other extensions when you get stuck to get an idea of how to possibly resolve the issue. And if you get completely stuck you can reach out to us on discord in the #extend channel.

tankerkiller125 Thank for your reply. Well I am looking to hire someone who can build some extension for me & community. As i read in other discussion that flarum uses some component of Laravel and i guess Zend is used as well. So what platform one should be knowing in order to develop extension.

askvortsov The one you are concerned about too 😄.: Tags & Categories. I was thinking if anyone can extend the extension with option to upload image for Tag and show Topic, Replies count on front side Tag / Category card.

So not sure if this is what youre looking for, but after a few core bugfix PRs, I'm planning on making an extension that adds (or replaces) the current tags page with a more conventional looking hierarchy page, that should have pretty much all the info you're looking for. I don't know about uploading images (tbh I'm not sure that would look well), but yeah that should be out hopefully within a week or so

Well that depends on image but there should be both option List View & Grid View. Image Upload should be option given in Grid view. List view will look traditional hierarchy page. Grid View looks good in Mobile view. Just my suggestion if you are on it.
