- If your Wechat account is not linked in user settings, it can't be automatically linked by your email, because WeChat API doesn't provide it. Or do you mean something else?
❌ Registered user (with e-mail / another auth method) -> can't be automatically linked by e-mail (WeChat doesn't provide it)
❌ Registered user -> link already paired WeChat accout
✅ Registered user (e-mail / another auth method) -> link unpaired WeChat account
✅ Unregistered user -> Log in Witch WeChat -> registered user
It works on the same principle as LinkedIn login because the user's email is not available.
- The extension allows this, but Flarum doesn't support Chinese characters in username.
