Just discovered October CMS and noticed it is Laravel PHP based. Might be a 'natural' fit for a website with integrated Flarum user authentication, yes?
Does anyone have any experience with this CMS?

It certainly has an awesome installer...
October is already MOST starred PHP CMS on Github .
Not even hit stable release yet and have ~230 extensions in marketplace. It's modern, it's laravel.
Question is, not if, but WHEN Flarum get integration with it.
Hmm,,, @Franz ? ?
amdad I was not impressed with the community. Sifting through their forums I noticed the majority of member support questions are unanswered or unresolved. I moved on and am testing Ghost at the moment.
ron_jeremy ? To OctoberCMS & Ghost.
October's community is probably right now as Flarum's community was in the beginning.
Don't judge a product by its team, judge it by how you are going to use it ?
datitisev Don't judge a product by its team, judge it by how you are going to use it
That is not very good advice.
ron_jeremy True, let me modify it, sorry:
Well, you use a product because you need it.
If the product has many bugs, or few to none features, and poor support & team, leave.
If the product has no bugs, but small team, probably ok.
If the product is called Flarum, do not leave ?
ron_jeremy Comparing Ghost to October is like comparing bicycle to truck. Ghost is just a blog. Not even PHP. nodeBB is for that matter.
October is mostly created by two persons, like Flarum. Where one of them is commit most. Don't expect that Sam will be coding and answering all not urgent topics. October is not another toy for end user, it's a tool for devs. October is not final yet. It's RC so things are still under development.
amdad Fair enough.
daftspunk Wow, I didn't expect to see you here! I guess talented modern programmers find each other ?
In Flarum and October I see future. Mostly because those 2 perfectionists that drive those projects. Seriously. ?
See @daftspunk and @Toby in one place. Just WOW ?
daftspunk Nice to have you with us. I think Franz is jealous of your installer for October. ?
Hello @[deleted]
Are you a part of October CMS team ?
Thanks! Flarum/esoTalk has been on the radar for a while. We'd love to see a Flarum-October bridge and would be happy to assist. OctoberCMS GitHub repo is the best place to get in touch about this.
meetdilip @daftspunk (Sam) is for October what @Toby is to Flarum. A HEAD and THE HANDS. ?
I'll move this thread to Dev/Integrations so we can use it to discuss any progress on the bridge prospect.
We, as a web-studio, working with October CMS. It was our main cms for low-budget projects. But we were really surprised actually, after i think couple projects, we realized, that OCMS is more than just perfect front-end tool. We started to make more advanced plugins for our clients, and it's blowed our minds. Cause it's not only easy to develop, it's really rapid process! So now our main goal is to watch how OCMS is growing and integrate it to more advanced projects. Right now we searching for forum projects that we can use with OCMS, so Flarum + OCMS will be perfect for us. Hope to see Flarum and OCMS in 5 years at the top of all CMS and FSS projects!)))
