ValiantShishu This is probably an extension that is no longer compatible with the latest releases, that forum is on Flarum Beta 7, a version which is no longer supported. Some extensions from that time were not updated to work with Beta 8+, such as a few editors like that one.

You can enable the Flarum Markdown extension, which will provide an editor bar at the bottom of the composer window like you see on discuss here.

ValiantShishu That site is using a Flarum Chinese localization version of TowerLight (beta.7C) which is not compatible with official Flarum version beta.8+.

This is how TowerLight version achieved that editor effect, he modified the Markdown extension:

So there are two ways to get the effect you want, there isn't any easy way right now:

Wait for someone make an extension that allow admin easily add custom Markdown/BBCode button.
Change the Markdown Editor extension yourself.

Add custom code after the last m() sequence on line 13

Create this two folder & file resources/locale/en.yml

We don't recommend editing files in vendor. The extension API should be used from extend.php or an extension for permanent changes.
