I have faced a very strange issue of two different scroll-bar as shown by the arrow in the image.
I have encountered this behaviour occurring in randomly when visiting the /categories page, I think such behaviour should be regarded as a bug.

Hey! Amazing extension, I love it. But I was wondering, how did you do on your website (https://forum.youthneuro.org/) so that the categories appear on your main screen?

ednatmp hey there! In your Admin CP, go to the “Basics” tab and under the “Home Page” area you should be able to switch to the “Categories” view instead 🙂

askvortsov sure is 😆 Welcome Widgets will show up in All Discussions but not the Category view page.

@askvortsov it doesn't look like anyone has reported this issue yet, but, if you assign a nested or a secondary tag to a primary tag that group restricted, the title of the discussion still shows in the "Last Discussion" widget. If you click on the title of that discussion, it'll notify you that the resource cannot be located (this is the expected outcome).

In my case, "[DRAFT] Rules & Guidelines" is assigned to a primary tag that is group restricted, but I have a secondary tag labelled "Draft" that is accessible to all members for use.

Ralkage is it really specific to this extension? That looks like an issue with Tags in general.

I remember an issue about this, I thought we had fixed it. But I can't find the issue right now...

We partially fixed this. We ensured that private discussions and hidden discussions aren't set, but didn't add in checks for subtag perms. And we can't calculate per user as thst would massively increase the number of queries if there's a lot of tags.

That being said, for small forums, you can enable a setting in categories.which will do that per user calculation.

Would be possible in a future to make the main tag, aka category have some kind of button or arrow down/up depends on the state, to fold or unfold sub-categories

For example
Category
--Announcements
--Rules
Category 2
--General Chat
--Guides

So, with that button / arrow, we could be able to hide the sub-categories and reveal again if click again
How this is helpful?
Lets say i have a forum for a mid/big community, where i have 5/6 categories with 4/5 subcategories inside, it becomes a very long forum to scroll down, and, maybe someone interested in the category number 5 may not have interest on category number 3 and 4, so they can fold that 2 categories!

Hmm, this is already implemented for mobile mode, might be good to add that collapsible compact view in desktop mode. No ETA though.

askvortsov This doesn't appear to be working for me? I have a couple of soft deleted posts, that are still showing under the categories. Even when logged out - I have cleared cache and it still shows too.
