I'm curious about the small forum optimisation setting - my forum isn't terribly busy so I have this enabled and it doesn't seem to be having a big impact... I assume as the performance concern is when you have a lot of users and a lot DB queries as a result. The difference in accuracy in post counts is rather stark though -e.g. my main forum has 600,000 posts, but without this setting enabled, I get a postcount of maybe 10 posts... 🧐

MikeBanim Actually the one thing most of my users want is a user-level setting to be able to enable/disable it for them by default

I find it too big and the blocks too.

Oton You can use CSS,
.TagCategory .TagCategory-content .TagCategory-main .TagCategory-name for categories.
.TagCategory.SubCategory .TagCategory-content .TagCategory-name for subcategories.
.TagCategory .TagCategory-content for text content in blocks and also adjusting padding.

Thank you. It seems I can change all except the main category text. For example, the "GENERAL" text does not respond to the changes in font size.

Hey! Nice extension @askvortsov. Thanks for that. I noticed that when we are using the newer FontAewsome version, the circle icon isn't renderized, causing this problem:

Can you add an option in config to allow us to edit the class of the icon or update the extension?

m4v3rick I'll take a look next week to see if I can replicate the problem. At the moment I am using the extension under version 1.6 of Flarum and everything is working properly.

m4v3rick I have the same problem on 1.7.2 (was also an issue on 1.7.0).
I have disabled custom styles and all extensions besides Tags and Categories and the issue persists.

There are no errors in console.

@m4v3rick I just upgraded my forum to version 1.7.2 and it still works without any problem.

Take a look at the browser console for any errors to see what's going on, but I think the same as askvortsov and it's probably a CSS tweak.

Kakifrucht Can you reproduce with a fresh install?

askvortsov I have made a fresh install using my current database with only Tags and Categories enabled and it still happens. It does indeed not happen on a fresh database though.
