A Flarum extension. Makes the human time (ex. 2 minutes ago) update in real time. Posts between 11-60 seconds old will show the exact seconds.

Installation

Use Bazaar or install manually with composer:

composer require fof/realtimedate

010101 It's handled client side, so no hosting constraints there...

It doesn't ping anything. It updates the text of times because they have the full time as an attribute, which is used to update the text shown to the user.

It's normal that I see "2 minutes ago" and so on even if I disabled the extension? It still continue to updates with no refreshing page when it is disabled

enricodx Did you clear the cache after disabling the extension ? It'll still be loaded as a compiled resource unless you do.

enricodx The time will update if you cause a re-render of the UI - what this means is if that you e.g. interact with the post, there's a chance that computer is redrawn and the code ran again. It doesn't necessarily mean the extension is still active.

Extension enabled on the left, disabled on the right, and it's not updating without refresh.
