I'm getting the following from the status check:

The gmp PHP extension and minishlink/web-push library (composer require minishlink/web-push) MUST be enabled for push notifications to work.

Both GMP & minishlink.web-push library have been installed. Any advice?

GMP is in my php --ini dump

SQL DATABASE VERSION: 14.14 distribution 5.7.31

do I need to enable the bundle in the GITHUB it mentions enabling it in app/kernal?

It also explains i have to change a configuration: app/config/config.yml.

Are these steps I have to do @askvortsov ?

L1fe In addition to being installed, php-gmp must be enabled. Has this been done?

My comment only came out partially. I have ubuntu in the /etc/php/7.4/cli php.ini i added extension=gmp.so is there anything else that I need to do to enable it other than modifying the ini script?

Is gmp listed if you run php -m? You might also need to restart php.

The PHP extension needs to be enabled for both the console (cli) and the web server (might be apache, fpm, or something else). You might need to edit two files to enable it in both places.

clarkwinkelmann man I have tried pretty much everything - I've got it enabled in the CLI as extension=gmp it shows up in php -m, but the status check in the app is saying:

When using with a subfolder domain it links to the wrong files. My flarum is at example.com/forum

I fixed it.

I changed https://github.com/askvortsov1/flarum-pwa/blob/master/src/PWATrait.php#L44 to
'src' => $basePath.'assets/'.$this->settings->get("askvortsov-pwa.icon_${size}_path"),

It now works and the Install button for PWA appears.

@askvortsov, you may want to change this in the main repo.

I managed to resolve this issue:

in config.php made changes:
'charset' => 'utf8',
'collation' => 'utf8_unicode_ci',
drop table _push_subscriptions
cleared cache
reactivated extension

L1fe I am facing a similar problem. Everything works great, I even made a PWA application on Google Play, but push notifications are never being sent. Just checked and GMP is installed, and push notifications are activated in my profile.

Nothing is showing up on the error logs.

Am I missing something?

I also checked the composer installed packages and I have minishlink 5.2.5.

On my phpinfo I have

gmp support	enabled
GMP version	6.1.2

malago What do you mean when you say you have it on Google Play? Do push notifications work on the regular PWA website (if you add to homescreen from the browser)? Installed apps might have a different API for notifications
