Progressive Web App (PWA) and Push Notifications

Facebook and Google have disabled "WebView logins" due to security reasons as of October 2021.
(https://developers.googleblog.com/2021/06/upcoming-security-changes-to-googles-auth-2.0-authorization-endpoint.html?m=1 & https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/android/deprecating-webviews)

So basically this makes OAuth plugin obsolete for this extension. Is it possible to come up with a fix?

girefko OAuth logins don’t use webview with a pwa. It should open a safari window (or chrome) in the pwa which should still work with oauth.

It seems the extension finds a user to send a notification to, but in the end still tries to send 0 notifications. I enabled notifications for every type and also double checked to enable it on the device. Resetting VAPID keys (and afterwards subscribing to notifications again) did not work, either.

Is this related to gmp? I cannot install it because our flarum is hosted on a shared hosting...

Maybe I missed something, feel free to make suggestions what I can try to get the notifications to work.

This scenario implies that no push subscriptions have been found for the users in question. That's how the sendingCounter is calculated:

Is there a record for the user in question in the push subscriptions table?

Hi, as I reinstalled flarum, the pwa reported fetch error on the console:
sw:63 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to fetch
at sw:63:16

I am currently using pwa 3.1.3.

Have tried rest Vapid key , not working ( it says 0 subscription has reset)
No potential issues found

GMP installed. Is there any other things i need to check?

Not sure about if pwa in flarum could push notification as native app in mobile with android system? I successfully install and make it works on my website, it did pop up and notify users to install the website, but it's not sending any notification via phone.

AND the pusher does notify in table, the web-notification works as well.

I don't know why but I cant enable this extension in the admin panel. Reinstall and clear cache and reset the extension are tried but not worked. The browser console returned a 500 error. What should I do then?

Pain4Din0 Most probably it's MariaDB's lower version issue. You will find the real problem in /storage/logs
I had a similar issue in the past, but after upgrading to the MariaDB version, this issue was resolved.
If you can't update MariaDB, there is another way you can enable the extension if related to the above issue I mentioned.

Replace 255 with 191 and you will be able to activate the extension.

I formated using https://www.freeformatter.com/html-formatter.html

Uploaded statick webmanifest and solved this bug: HasanMerkit

I think pwa extension generating wrong header in file and something wrong with linux servers or format error.
