I love this extension! I have a problem where when using the Private Forum Facade extension it no longer gives the option to install a PWA. Any suggestions? Thanks

I really enjoy this extension and it works great for me. Unfortunately a friend with an Android 12 phone has a problem that doesn't keep her logged in. So each time visiting the app, she needs to login again. Is this something related to her browser, or has this anything to do with the extension?

I found that this extension may cause
"The resource XXXX was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window's load event. Please make sure it wasn't preloaded for nothing"
warning on Safari browser, which This will cause a second refresh every time the user returns to the previous page.

It's just a question and information at the same time.

Unfortunately, PWA is not available in the new IOS 17.4 release in the EU.

I assume there is no way or possibility to get around this in any way.

I have 17.4 installed in EU and Flarum PWA still works...

Hi. Is it possible to eliminate the notice that appears to install the site when the user is browsing? I am interested in using PWABuilder to upload it as an application to the Google Play Store and I don't want to get the notice from the forum.

Hi,
I have a problem:
I set the Pusher correctly, and now I can see new posts without refresh. But when I install forum as PWA use this extension and kiwi browser, I can't receive new posts notification if I put this PWA app in background.
I can ensure that my browser can receive notification, and I test browser by telegram:

Is we should use background sync and periodic sync?

And who can tell me how to achieve this effect？

Hi there! Author of the PR here.

This new update is specifically if you want to publish PWA apps in the Apple App Store using something like PWABuilder. If you don't need to publish in the app store, you don't really need to update your forum.

Hey jaggy, It looks like there's a problem with latest PWA update (v3.4.0).

After updating, I'm seeing this in the logs:

flarum.ERROR: Firebase config invalid

I haven't set anything up (firebase related), but it seems like it might be required(?)

jaggy Dumb question related to this -- supposedly WebKit added PWA notifications back in iOS 16.x, right? Does this mean I can receive push notifications on iOS with this without needing to publish on the App Store?

Does anyone had received push notifications on Microsoft Edge ever? I never receive them on Edge but on Safari...
