mueenulit you can see how to configure it on Extiverse: https://extiverse.com/extension/kyrne/websocket. You will have to run the websocket in order for this extension to have any effect.

mueenulit it will be very hard to get this going on shared hosting as you do not have access to the necessary configurations. But you might want to consider using Pusher (bundled extension) instead if your community is not that big.

It seems to break CSS on flarum 1.5.0 for discussion side bar on PC view.

Anyone else have similar problem?

I use websocket with Whisper and do not see notifications about new private messages
I started websockets with
php flarum websockets:serve --debug
and see

But I do not receive new notifications
I use flarum on AWS with nginx

exshapoval please note that this extension is abandoned and not supported anymore. Also, the developer is no longer active in this community. There is a (commercial) alternative to this extension: Realtime.

mihir It's not supported so you may be able to install it but it may crash your site. Since it's marked asAbandoned its use at your own risk. I would recommend not using it.
