mihir It's not supported so you may be able to install it but it may crash your site. Since it's marked asAbandoned its use at your own risk. I would recommend not using it.

I'm in the process of migrating my extensions to Flarum 2.0. Since this was a private extension, I'm wondering if there are any licensing restrictions for porting it to the new version.

Can I release it to the public, or should I just keep it as a private extension?

ram0ng1 my own Realtime extension was merged into core for free, open source use. I recommend looking at that first, as it is adopted by the core team.

ps. by default all premium extensions restrict further use.

Yes, I’ve just tested it on Nightly and even Discuss, and it works really well. Much better than Pusher. I’m really pleased it’s been integrated into the core for free
