I know Flarum is an open source project but I am waiting since the last beta that we're getting close to the first stable version in order to use the forum software in production. I am building up a community and after I was observing and testing a lot of alternatives like NodeBB or Discourse, I decided to use Flarum. But I do not want to use it before a stable release was released.
So, is there any clue when we could expect a stable version (could be with less features as originally planned) but a version that could be upgraded without having big problems.

Nothing wrong in it. Flarum is very interesting and popular even before it got to a stable version. People would like to adopt it now.

HavocK I was saying " in general " we can't blame people to want to know about when Flarum is getting stable. Because they love Flarum and want to use it. That makes them curious.

Well, I guess it's natural for people to wait for stable release, myself being one of them. I'm seriously considering Flarum for my upcoming project and need to be sure that this project isn't going to be abandoned.

Prosperous There simply isn't an answer out there. If there is I would appreciate a link. For the non developers among us it's hard to know if the milestones will be completed in 1 week or 1 year. I have searched and haven't found any release date, expected release date or any real time frame.

This isn't a criticism to the developers, I know they are doing the best they can but it's not hard to understand why every week people are asking and hoping for a release date to be decided. Flarum is awesome and people want to use it.

But as of now, it is very hard to give an exact date for the stable version. We do not want to rush things and mess up everything, which will cause us more delay.
We want to make sure that everything is smooth and stable so that users will have flawless experience using Flarum.

You just have to read a couple of posts to get the full story or explanation. I'm not criticising you as an individual or any other individual for that matter. I am merely stating that the search feature is a powerful tool to be able to get your answer quicker than posting your own topic or post.

As @Digital mentioned, everyone does appreciate your support and enthusiasm and I'm sure it is something that Toby and Franz appreciate.

wumix It was supposed to be bundled with beta 6 ( next beta ). I am not sure of the current status though.
