bavard the ID converts any special character into a dash, while it could convert it to the most similar a-z character (é > e)
This is a more general transliteration issue that also applies to slugs, I believe there's work in progress to have better transliteration.
bavard there is no integrated tool to create a hex color value, at least it could provide a color picker, at best generate a ≈20 (brightness or saturation) shades gradient from a (third) color specified in Appearance/Colors
Agreed this would be useful/cool.
bavard the icon needs a prefix that is always the same, instead it could be included and hidden so we just need to type the keyword
In addition to what Clark mentioned, fontawesome isn't the only possible icon library, so not hardcoding it in is fairer to other options imo
bavard new tags are create by default as secondary, while quantitatively we use more primary tags
it is not mentioned nor obvious that secondary and primary tags are interchangeable simply by dragging
editing a tag is done by clicking on a small icon on the far right, while the whole element could be clicked (and dragged)
I'm lumping these all together because I agree that the actual tags management UI could use some improvement (if not a rewrite) (plus it's a pain to actually drag a tag the right ammount to make it a primary subtag. I feel like some of these could be addressed in flarum/core395 though, if/when the entire extension is entirely rewritten to be more flexible and better suit the needs of the community.
