Hi, I am getting this error when trying to do anything with composer:

Downloading https://flagrow.io/satis/packages.json

Following redirect (2) https://extiverse.com/satis/packages.json
Downloading https://extiverse.com/satis/packages.json

In RemoteFilesystem.php line 398:

  [Composer\Downloader\TransportException (404)]
The "https://extiverse.com/satis/packages.json" file could not be downloade
  d (HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found)

There is nothing else I can do, install/remove/update... everything throws that error and stops, is this something in my installation or something wrong with extiverse?

luceos Seeing you have no active subscription in Extiverse, you most likely have one in Flagrow. You can check that in the dashboard: https://flagrow.io/dashboard If this doesn't work for you, please reach out over Discord or Email.

I'm still getting charged for the subscription created on Flagrow. But don't see it on the Extiverse subscription page. Can't update the extension, cancel it, manage my credit card or anything else.

hrvoje_hr your flagrow.io subscription has been cancelled. You can now resubscribe through extiverse.com; my apologies for the inconvenience.

rafaucau remove the entry in your composer.json that mentions the url you see in the error. If you run into any issues feel free to reach out to me on discord so I can patch your composer.json for you.

Since deprecating bazaar, I have dedicated my evenings to build something that removes the need for composer on your server, grants increased simplicity with extension management and is integrated into the extiverse landscape.

I'm closing in on opening a closed beta feature on extiverse.com. One that allows you to use ftp or ssh credentials to install or update flarum and every single extension by building a list inside extiverse. This list will then be tested based on your PHP environment inside an isolated environment, with a fresh flarum installation. If this test succeeds your forum will be automatically upgraded.

Existing forums have nothing to fear in terms of losing their extensions. The list will be seeded with currently installed extensions and extension versions known to extiverse, custom ones will be ignored/kept intact.

There are still some knots to tie, but most of the logic is functional.

Looking into an issue with downloading zip's of premium extensions. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Edit: issue was resolved, thank you @JasperVriends for reporting the issue and assisting with the fix.

luceos Can you share the file of the Extiverse logo in eps format? I want to use icons for the link I will give on my site

mekici it's an svg on extiverse.com; if that doesn't suffice get in touch on discord or email 😉

I talked (luceos) about the extension manager before.

The day before yesterday I upgraded one of the forums I manage from flarum 0.1.0-beta.11.1 to beta 13 including all extensions installed. Completely remotely and without manual intervention! The forum did not require any additional extensions to get this to work.

            • Right now I'm trying to stabilize and speed up the deployment pipeline, it now runs between 10 to 30 minutes depending on the connection with the remote server.
            • I'm adding the ability to install a new forum as well.
            • With the above done the first people can start testing this feature while I add additional checks to check the deployment inside the pipeline for increased stability.

As running these deployments is quite resource demanding, there will be some costs involved with using the Extension Manager. I have been considering to offer a limited monthly number of runs free of charge. Do you think this model is fair and how many runs (deployments) do you think would be a great number to get in the free plan?

One of the suggestions I received was allowing three installs/upgrades for free per month per user. Is that something you can work with?

I'm trying to be open about suggestions here, but maybe what the question is might not be as easy to understand if the feature isn't completely explained?

I saw it supports Paypal just two days ago, but now I can't find any Paypal button over the bill page. So what happende?

Littlegolden extiverse has not and does not support paypal. I have been looking at Alipay though, but no progress there yet either. Other responsibilities have a higher priority right now.

luceos Really? The day before yesterday, when I clicked to buy the Support extension, there were two payment options, one is bank card and the other is PayPal. However, yesterday I discovered that there is only left the bank card payment method. don't know how that happened.

luceos I have been looking at Alipay though

Alipay is definitely a reliable payment method, but for non-Chinese companies, opening an account may be a little difficult.
You may need to use some "middleman" platforms to collect payments. (Steam, mojang use this method to realize Alipay collection).

Extiverse was down last night (approx 12 hours ago to 5 hours ago) due to some changes I made to create the Console Helper. I noticed the 500 as well before going to bed, but the fix wasn't that apparent (especially at 2 am in the morning 🙈).

My apologies for any inconvenience and thanks to everyone bringing this to my attention.
