Since the language option did select all discussions in that language regardless of which tag you select, so the language filter did not break but the tag filter broke, right?

IanM How can I change all discussions' language as bulk. I would like to create contents in another language but I need to change older discussions to my main language. Is it possible?

Also I select language but this selection disappear when I click to homepage or any tag etc.

When setting the language, I would like to be able to select multiple options, and "any language".

YoF having a post in multiple / any language would defeat the purpose of this extension. A discussion can only be written in one language. If you want to post the same in multiple languages then it would just be multiple instances of the discussion in different languages.

mikesnow I don't remember. I think that was an issue after Flarum v1 came out before this ext was updated to support it.

It seems that you can only choose the language when you post...

This means that if a user makes a mistake, they and admin can't change it unless the post is deleted.

Or I missed something?

stimw The discussion controls should have a button to change the language, depending on whether the user has permission to change the discussion's language.

There's a permission in the admin panel similar to the change tags permission.

I think maybe there's confusion regarding discussion vs post controls here? A language is set per discussion, so the discussion controls are used.

sorry for that, I have found it, maybe because of the CF cache problem before.

two other little problem:

if you select any language, you have all in this even if you select any category

same problem here...even if I disable "tag" and then enable it again.

The choice of countries/languages is not completely alphabetical, which makes my choice a bit difficult. 😅

I have reported in GitHub an annoying bug that breaks the language filter when accessing through the /all page (FriendsOfFlarum/discussion-language17)

For example (https://community.upc.ch/all) you can see that if you enter from https://community.upc.ch no matter how many times you reload the page the filter works but through https://community.upc.ch/all the filter is broken and a lot of languages appear.

If your homepage is another one (as in my case) and you are forced to access the forum through /all this error is constant for any visitor 😕

Changed locale packages to support ISO 639-2 languages (FriendsOfFlarum/discussion-language16)
- The ext will use ISO 639-1 where possible to allow for locale detection using language pack to work
  - e.g. english language pack uses en
- This data is now exported from Wikipedia's List of ISO 639-2 codes.
- 1.1.1 Add attribution notice to admin page
Chunk and lazy load the locale & country data so admin bundle doesn't increase by ~80 KB
- You may get an error telling you to disable & re-enable the extension. This makes the "chunks" (parts of code compiled into a separate file) copy over to the public/assets folder so they can be accessed.

datitisev With the use of ISO 639-2 codes in the case of Spanish it now shows as "Spanish; Castilian", it's a bit unnecessary, would there be a way to use ISO 639-1 for this language and just show "Spanish"?
