What is your administration experience in maintaining your Flarum forum ?

Hello to all the Flarum community,
I'm completely new here (first post 😀 ).
I plan to host inside the company I work a local forum which would be used by 50-100 people. I have no demanding needs (theme, extension, etc...) but I expect the forum to run without major bugs and be able to do casual tasks with stability (create posts, moderate discussions...)
Flarum seems to be fantastic (euphemism) but I am a bit scared by the numerous and regular beta version upgrades. So here are my questions:

Have you encountered major breaks using Flarum for 'casual' use (question of stability)?
What is your experience in regularly upgrading Flarum? Does it usually upgrade seamlessly, or does it need small config editings? Did you encounter broken user/post database in the upgrading process?
What are the necessary dev/administration skills to be able to cope with the upgrading process? (I am proficient at Unix tools, and quite confident at Linux system administration) Should one know to develop in php or know web technology?
What is your overall feeling in the upgrading process? Are you anxious about a new beta release or does it go usually well? (subjective, free question)

If use Flarum as Internal Forum (Work), will be the best choice.

People's will love the simplicity and speed. Also fully mobile friendly UI.
Moderation feature is simple.
Use Flarum without extension, the built-in features are enough for daily usage.
Flarum still beta. To make sure smooth upgrading process, use it without extension. Unless, you're know what you're doing for maintain that 3rd party extension.
Flarum is promising software, I decide to migrating my old forum in to Flarum with Pain. But, I get what want. Performance Satisfied!

Instead of Pros... Flarum still has Cons...
Flarum lack of built-in attachment module (such files or picture, like others..)
This is important feature, if you use Flarum as Internal Collaboration Software between workers..

But you can use existing 3rd party extension. such....

FriendsOfFlarum upload or
Imgur Upload, simple image upload
I do like the second one made by @matteocontrini .. Simple Code, It will not break your forum.. and using Old Style BBCode for Image.

FBI Thank you very much for your reply. The name of the second image upload extension is image-upload. I am very happy that it can serve local storage images since these might contain sensitive information. Thanks again! 😄
