Apologies for being rather quiet lately - life has been hectic to say the least.
That said, we're pleased to announce some great updates:
Our updates:
- We have entered talks to potentially purchase a general discussion forum that I previously worked at. This (hopefully!) will be merged with Creators Wave to provide a more well-rounded discussion board, and strengthen our online presence.
- We have assisted a number of users, and external parties with Flarum installation, and are proud to continue to do so.
- Creators Wave is proud to support the community, both through community 'dev-back' whereby we're actively searching for, and reporting bugs in core, as well as developing extensions (such as signature). But also through our resources; our design team are even offering free graphic designs for our members.
- We have released our first totally free photoshop design : https://creatorswave.com/d/361-birdbox-twitter-header-free-download
- We are soon going to be recruiting a moderator to assist with the continued growth and management of the site.
- We have recently completed a successful disaster recovery simulation, whereby we simulated the entire failure of both our website server, and our database. We were able to fully fail-over to a backup server (and database) within 13 minutes. This was then synced back to the main server, and recovered within 45 minutes (total time). We are rather pleased with this, but will endeavour to be even quicker to fully recover going forwards.
