katos Updates Log - October, 2021 Rolled out a new branding across the site and social media. (https://creatorswave.com/assets/logo-slyj5czx.png) Migrated to a new alerts system for the infrastructure, allowing us to quickly identify downtime and issues with our backups, and to make informed decisions with regards to remediation or disaster recovery more quickly. Rolled out a new firewall system to the backend systems. Updated the forum core software, as well as our extensions. Provided invaluable feedback to extension developers where we had identified issues with performance on the back of these being enabled on our stack. Re-introduced private discussions. Disabled signatures due to occasional crashes - investigating the root cause of this. Enabled Sentry to track errors on the site, and monitor performance. Built a new backup system (read more (coming soon)) Fixed the erroneous code in the footer that meant that the ASCII ♡ was not showing properly. Began work with @IanM and @davwheat to introduce new and exclusive extensions and an overhauled theme for Creators Wave. Surpassed 1.3k posts. Introduced email templates (further expansion to follow) Made use of hooks into MailChimp for email marketing. (not yet in use for mailshots) Introduced Flarum Scheduler queue. Investigating the use of a Redis cache.
