Together with @katos I've started a new Forum for IT professionals (and people interested in IT) to hang out and talk IT and other random stuff. It's clearly still in the very early stages. However, thanks to all of the awesome extensions the community provides it's off to a great start feature wise.

Still working out the exact tag structure, site design and Logo. But all of that will come in time. As usual regular work and Flarum development come first for me.

Kylo I'll probably switch to darker colors coming when I get a chance to really go in depth and work on it. Won't change to be all the same color. Especially since I personally still use the Flarum layout myself (categories is for other IT people who are used to that kind of thing)

You should reflect the domain name on your website too. Right now it's "sysadmin lounge" (without the "s") e.g. in the top left corner and in the page titles.

Mini Update:

Updated Colors a bit, less vibrant more muted than before so it isn't so blinding
Added a role for IT Vendors to advertise their products/services if they wish (under strict guidlines)
Added an introductions section for new members
Started getting some awesome resource submissions like Group Policy Search and Automated Lockout Alerts

Also implemented Redis Queues, moderation stuff and posted a bunch of other really cool stuff in our resources section including telnet automation with Powershell, Automated Windows AD Account disabling, and more.

We continue to share an incredible amount of awesome information in our resources section. Including information on Visual Studio Code Signing Certs a powershell URL un-shortener and even an automated switch VLAN configuration utility.

If you have awesome stuff you'd like to share, Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. feel free to do so on our forums. We're super friendly after all.

We've upgraded to beta 15!

We have a couple of important updates!

First we moved our server to the UK, there are many reasons for this, but overall it's a good thing.

And second we upgraded to the latest version of Flarum.

Finally, while the site has been stagnant for quite some time it is our intention to work on reviving it and posting more content.
