Change from demo.mysite.com to mysite.com

This guide https://flarum.org/docs/install.html#customizing-paths also work if I want to move demo.mysite.com to mysite.com ?

teletubbie the only place in Flarum where you need to edit the URL is in config.php.

If you previously used extensions like FoF Upload, you might need to setup some redirects or edit additional URLs in the database to keep images working.

And of course any link a user might have entered on the forum will either need to be edited or redirected. This is not handled automatically.

Not really. However, changing which domain you're using shouldn't be too difficult. Shouldn't be too much more than making a new installation on the new domain, connecting it to the old database, and copying over the 'assets' and 'storage' folders. Full disclosure, I haven't personally done this, but I know plenty of people have successfully switched a forum to another host / domain.

Do you mean just rename the folder demo.mysite.com to mysite.com on cpanel file manager and then edit config.php?
that is all?

So I only must change this line:
'url' => 'http://demo.mysite.com',

to
'url' => 'http://mysite.com',

right?

You might want to use the opportunity to upgrade to HTTPS 🙂
