lichengkun135 This is a bug in the rich text extension, I'll publish a fix shortly.
askvortsov That will be great! Thanks!
Hi there, I'd like to say I love your extension, but recently I found that it doesn't work on blog. That is, when I select the tag on blog's view, the template doesn't appear, just like:
askvortsov Next update can you make a feature when we create a discussion, people who reply to that discussion can use the template?
For now, the template can use in the new Tag discussion, right?
It’s already in this extension.
Teddan Oh I need to explore the features.. Maybe I don't know how to setting up.
How I can set for reply template?
Teddan thank you, Sir. I manage to do it.
askvortsov Hi Sir, I think you should add this feature, when someone wants to post. The rules message will popup and the rules for every discussion, we can set differently.

Hi, will there be a visual templated editor/creator?
Hi,
I have a vanilla installation performed with softaculous where there seems to be conflicts with the Rich Text
extension.
When changing tags while in the discussion creation dialog, once the user confirms his tag selection, the tag selection dialog is dismissed, but the "curtain" that covers the page while that dialog was there does not get dismissed, preventing the user from interacting with his own text and forcing him to reload the page or close the tab altogether.

I have another install where the templates are simply not recognized. I will submit that under a separate post.
Hi, my production forum simply won't give any templates to users who are creating a discussion (not the default one and not the one that exists for tags). It lets admins create reply templates, but if I extend that privilege to moderators or members, that setting is not respected.
Below is my php flarum info for that deployment:

djemyjenab This is a good idea, but feels like it might be better as a separate extension?
jdoe Hi, will there be a visual templated editor/creator?
It's definitely possible. Bundled extensions would need to move autofill buttons to common
, and core should add an admin component wrapping TextEditor
with some default styles first though. @Core Developers.
blueCamel but the "curtain" that covers the page while that dialog was there does not get dismissed
I can't replicate this, any chance you have a video of the problem?
Hello! Where do I manage the reply templates for all discussions please, I only found the reply template for one post. On the reply button after the title of each thread, there is only a reply template for this thread. But not found, under the main tab, the reply template for all posts. Do I have to set the reply template again for each post?
I could be wrong, but I think @Amarok may be wondering if it's possible to set a reply template globally for a tag. It looks like you can only set a discussion template per tag, and reply templates must be set individually under each individual discussion.
I agree it would be nice to be able to also specify a reply template globally at the tag level that applies to all replies for a discussions (just not the discussion post itself).
askvortsov HTML should be supported, so that input can be set and more possibilities can be realized.
askvortsov Switching to a tag with a different template will only replace the content if you have not interacted at all with the composer. If you have added/deleted/etc text, the new template will not be applied
Unfortunately the template does not change if no edits have been made in the editor:
Flarum: 1.8.3
PHP: 8.2.22
MySQL: 8.0.39-cll-lve
Why there is no option also for "title" field?
