I enjoyed test Flarum the last few days, and I wanted to share with you a main problem about SEO with tags pages.
Indeed, these important pages are invisible to Google:
- The content of this pages are not indexable by search engines, as you can see in Google's cache : http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://discuss.flarum.org/t/dev&num=1&strip=1&vwsrc=0
- The title and description meta tags of those pages are not customizable, resulting in duplication of tags on all pages :
<Title> Flarum Community </ title>
<Meta name = "description" content = "Get backup using and Extending Flarum, the next-generation software forum That Makes fun online discussion.">
I'm not a developer and I fear not being able to help to solve it. But if this two issues could be patched, I think all websites run by Flarum should have better visibility in search results pages of Google, Bing & co.
Anyway, Flarum is a great tool and I am glad to have been able to try it. Thank you to all contributors of the project.
