Search function within a Mega Thread only returns one hit

Hi there,

we are using Flarum and really like it.
We are having some sort of mega threads with several thousand posts in it... it's just endless smalltalk discussion threads.

Sometimes though, we want to be able to search within such ONE mega-thread and be able to see all hits. Is this not supported? For me it looks as if there's only ONE search-hit being returned per thread.

Can you help me out?

bj147 There currently isn't a function / ability to search within discussions, only to search for discussions as a whole. This is a highly requested feature though, but before we can get to it there's a few infrastructure rewrites needed for stable.

There won't be any new features like that implemented before stable, which is planned to be out this year. After that is an open question.

In the meantime, this may make a good community extension, as it's no doubt a feature desired by many Flarum sites.
