Any chance this could be updated to include upvotes received in the same way as gamification

[deleted] this extension works with Flarum's like data. I'm not sure whether what you're suggesting requires Gamification or not?

To do the same thing for another data source, it should pretty easy to fork the extension and adapt for something else.

Gatsu if you install gamification it has similar functionality that can replace likes and also display on user profiles.

It would be nice to see this built into the likes extension.

I'm stuck between using likes and gamification because gamification hides the list of users in a dropdown (poor visibility 👎️), but it allows you to customize the string (likes, upvotes, points, karma) and display on a users profile.

Likes on the other hand obviously shows the list of users, with a link to open the modal if it's too long right on the post (good visibility 👍️), but can't display it on the profile or customize the string.

askvortsov that would be stellar 🙂 I guess it's between you and @clarkwinkelmann (one day I will learn to write flarum extensions)... and I agree that it would be a very useful metric to have available for your trust levels extension (which I also use).
