Kylo I’m not gonna lie, I think I might just take one out of your book and adapt that widget/card style to my Forum Statistics Widget. If you don’t mind of course 👀👌

Kylo wow this is beautiful! Thanks for yet another awesome contribution to the flarum ecosystem! 😁

Kylo Widgets won't show up when you login via an external identity provider (like GitHub, Twitter, Facebook etc.) due to a bug in flarum/core.

Pity really, as this extension looks great in my dev environment (local login) but obviously doesn't work in prod because of the fact I'm using SSO. Would love to see this working for SSO external id providers !!

I love this. It’s neat. Anything that is “neat” could get your forum more members. BUT! Especially on mobile, I don’t want to have to scroll past it every time to get to the posts. It needs to be at the bottom of the forum, or, it’s own page. Kind of like tags is it’s own page. But hey, that’s just like, my opinion man. 😉

Kylo perhaps you should just so those of is who leverage SSO can still enjoy this marvelous extension. I'm sure there are going to be hundreds like me 😁

010101 someone was asked me for a feature to hide widgets either automatically after X seconds or by clicking a close button so that won't show up until next login. I'm still thinking about the best way to implement this 'hiding' feature (I need more opinions!!) which, I believe, will solve that mobile issue.

And for upcoming releases, I may take a step further and move them into their own page with more graphical informations (like you see in the dashboard). So we can have numerical representation of changes in the widgets and graphical things in, say, Statistics page.

[deleted] okay let's unlock them in the next one just to show forum statistics.

010101 I agree on the first part 🙂, it's a bit tricky for tablets though because the widget/sidnav gets relocated under the hero and DiscussionList. With XenForo, they make it so that all widgets display on the bottom on mobile which shouldn't be too difficult to add CSS for since we can specifically target devices.

The UserCard Welcome widget should remain on the top though because it's exactly where it shold be.

The other 3 should go on the bottom and I will most likely do the same for my extension for mobile devices.

Kylo Thanks. I’m definitely a fan of a separate stats page. I can’t make up my mind if they are fine on top or should be on bottom. I don’t know. But a separate page I know for sure would be nice. It doesn’t distract from the simplistic discussion list that way.

010101 @Kylo how about a compromise where you have a div or hero block you can dismiss, and if you want to see it again you can view it via a link in the navigation pane (where the tags etc are listed) ?

                    Hello,

I've some problems with this extension. Everything seems to be OK during install process, I see the extension under Extensions tab in my Flarum admin, but :

                    • There's no dots button for activating the extension
                    • If I jut click on the extension, nothing happens on public side

Could you please give some support?

                    Thanks a lot!
