Evergreen is based off Youtube, Instagram, and Tiktok's comment system. Your users will understand right away.

Realtime
Evergreen works with both Websockets and Pusher right away.

Installing
Evergreen replaces the default mentions extension (functionality is identical) so uninstall it first with composer remove flarum/mentions
Then install evergreen with composer require kyrne/evergreen

Drafts - Replies can be saved as Drafts (version 0.1.13 or newer)

Kyrne Whilst I really appreciate the extensions, making your own section to manage these in Administration confused me (as it will others I think), as I was expecting to find the extensions listed in the usual place - but they were not there.

For anyone else who may happen upon this, in the Administration panel, there will be a selection on the left called "Kyrne's Extensions". When you select this, you'll be able to enable/disable extensions, and adjust their settings...

Awesome extension! I just tested it a little bit and there are 2 things that I have to say:

Conflicts with fof/reactions: Uncaught TypeError: e.reactions(...).some is not a function at e.<anonymous> (addReactionAction.js:12)
The replies take up way to much space in my opinion. It would be nice to have an option that makes them as minimal as they are on StackOverflow. What do you think ?

The replies are under a custom class so you can totally customize it to your liking via css.

DursunCan I ran across this same issue in test. For it to work correctly, I needed to delete the evergreen folder in vendor/kyrne, then run composer remove kyrne/evergreen, then finally run composer install flarum/mentions

Not sure why this is, but I did flag it to @Kyrne

DursunCan Edit composer.json, add this line
"flarum/mentions": "^0.1.0",
Save it.
Open putty/composer and type
composer require flarum/mentions

EDIT: No, with this methos I got this error:

Something went wrong while trying to load the full version of this site.

I had to disable the "mentions" extension to be able to browse the forum, but obviously I don't have the mentions anymore.
How could this be solved? Thank you.

I wouldn't want to be wrong, it seems to me that discussions now aren't always marked as read. Anyone encounter this problem?

I solved, first active mention's extension, after going to phpmyadmin, in the settings table ----> extensions_enable. I cadded the field to, "flarum-mentions" and saved.
After doing everything clean the flarum and browser cache.
