Title overflow

If entered a very long title, it will overflow beyond the new discussion box boundaries. Perhaps setting a limit to titles?

Fastidious Dominion Would be super helpful if you guys could report these (and any others you find in the future) in the issue tracker, just so we can keep track of them all in one place 🙂

Did you try this out? We have a title limit, as far as I know.

On a somewhat similar topic, I've noticed a small display glitch related to thread titles.

When I'm entering a title for a new thread, the first couple characters seem to extend to the left of the title text box, and so cannot be seen until I move the cursor out of that box and start editing the body of the post. Title backflow?

I expect you're aware of this already, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

I'm using Safari 7.1.6 on Mavericks, if that makes any difference. Haven't tried it with any other browser yet.

Sorry Toby, I'll be glad to do that when I get a chance to sign up over there. With a screenshot, if I can remember.

(I'm a bit overextended at the moment. Having to re-setup my forum because our staff found it too hard to figure out where they should post about certain topics. The "all conversations" view, combined with the fact that you can post in any forum without actually displaying that forum first, seems to confuse people more than I'd expected it would. I'm going to have to simplify things a bit. It wouldn't be so bad, if they'd do the obvious thing and post a new thread to ask. Instead, they post their questions as responses to conversations about an entirely different subject. Just like I'm doing now. 😛 I know, I know, welcome to the world of forum administration!)

EDIT: Oh, the heck with it. I went ahead and signed up and posted my issue. It was becoming clear I need a break from my own forums, so why not spend a little time doing something productive?! 😃
