The /var/www/flarum directory is not writable.

Hey! I am setting up flarum on my own server and am having a little bit of trouble. I was given the The /var/www/flarum directory is not writable. error. I used SSH to give the directories the correct perms, but I am still getting the error. How can I fix this?

What permission code does this directory have? (ex: 664, 777, etc.)

I believe I gave it 0775. (sudo chmod 0775 /var/www/flarum)

RiversideRocks double check the owner of the files is correct and matches that of the PHP and web server process.

I was able to fix this by giving the folders max perms. Thanks!

RiversideRocks Max permissions (777) will work and all but will also leave a lot of files exposed to the public. If your working on http://localhost that's cool ig, but if you're using a server, make sure to use the right permissions.
